I hope this email finds you safe and well. I am pleased with the positive signs of recovery that we are seeing throughout the City of New Rochelle, but we still have a long way to go, both from a health perspective and in terms of getting back to a healthy economy.
My husband and fellow New Rochellean Brad Brown has been working on a tangible way to help our local businesses and, together with an all-volunteer group, launched New Rochelle United (www.newrochelleunited.org). This City-wide site makes it makes it easier than ever to buy gift cards, make donations, or promote businesses on social media. Please check it out and tell your friends! If you would like to help but don’t live in the area, click Other Donation Options.
It is also quick and easy for businesses to sign up to participate on the site – please feel free to refer business owners to the Business Sign Up menu on the top right of the website.
The coronavirus is no match for a united city. These steps can be part of all the terrific actions being taken by so many in our City during these difficult times.
