As a Realtor, I attend all of my closings, and I recently attended a closing on a property, and the buyer’s bank was located in Larchmont . Closings can take a few hours as we all know, and so many times a bathroom is required at some point. The sellers of the property were in their late 70’s, and after 2 hours, asked to use the bathroom. “Sorry”, was the response, the bathroom is located too close to the vault and no-one can visit the bathrooms. Oh my goodness!
We could not believe it! The sellers ended up going to a fast food restaurant close by, which was sort of funny as their attorney then chased after them after 10 minutes to sign some documents.. I noticed a sign on the wall to inspire the bank’s employees.. I thought it so humorous… I guess the tough decision of that day was to deny the bathroom!
Larchmont is GREAT!
