I recently posted a blog about the 10 Historic markers in New Rochelle, and featured 5 of them. Here are the remaining 5! The New Rochelle Art Association along the Mayor of New Rochelle, and the New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce decided to have 12 historic signs made, and it was decided that they would be located at all of the major access roads to New Rochelle. By 1923, 10 signs had been created.
This sign, designed by Ralph T. Robertson is located on the border of Pelham and New Rochelle on Lincoln Avenue.

This sign, created by Frederick Dana Marsh (father of James Marsh) is located on Pelham Shore Road.
