I was a sponsor in 2019, and once again this year and I have to say, I truly enjoyed being there and participating (by taking photos) at this wonderful event. It was the only race on Thanksgiving Day in the area, and people attended fofrm the Island far and wide since they were visiting their family members. GREAT T-Shirts!

From Michael Conlon – the founder and Director : “The New Rochelle Turkey Trot is back. After missing last year’s race due to COVID-19 we are extremely optimistic that this year’s race will be bigger, better and of course, safer than ever. The past year and a half has been very difficult for all of us but we are very excited to host the 2021 New Rochelle Turkey trot so we can once again support our local community. As you may recall, Giving You More Miles Inc, is a non-profit organization whose sole mission is to raise money for local charities in New Rochelle and Westchester County. 

The New Rochelle Turkey Trot has become a family and community focused event. In 2019, over 1800 participants (90% local) toed the start line in the beautiful historic district of New Rochelle allowing us to donate over $25,000 to our charity partners. Our hope is that our race becomes an annual tradition where families and friends gather to inspire our kids and young adults in order to help those who are less fortunate, but we need your help. 

We are now just two weeks away from the 2021 New Ro Turkey Trot and we want to make this year’s race our most successful one yet. As of this moment, we have 776 athletes registered (for the record, on this date in 2019, we only had 682 registered so we are officially “winning”).
