I have had the good fortune to have sold 2 homes this year through open houses. Contracts signed on one, engineer’s inspections performed on another.
I am having a listing appointment tomorrow… with someone whom I had met a few years ago at 3 different open houses… They were not ready to buy at the time, and I would keep seeing them at my different listings..When they contacted me last week, they stated that I was the only agent who followed up after an open house on behalf of the seller , and they never forgot that…. and so immediately thought of me when they were thinking of selling their home….Whenever sellers inform me that open houses do not work – I disagree.
