Paine Lake, New Rochelle – Just Ducky! Buying a home -Just dandy!

The leaves had yet to fall, but as I was driving by Paine Lake in New Rochelle, 10804, I could not stop myself from taking a short video of the Lake.  Named after Thomas Paine, who was awarded a small home  in thanks to his service, and is a now  the site of the Thomas Paine Cottage Museum, the area boasts beautiful older homes (and some new  ones too), many Tudors, Colonials, some Mediterranean homes, and all on tree-lined streets.

112 Homes have sold to to-date in the 10804 zip code area, Ward Elementary School  ranging in price from $360,000 to $2,025,000. 13 homes have sold this year in the Wykagyl Park, Paine Heights, Forest Heights area… ranging in price from $549,000 to $2,025,000 with a median price of $915,000 and price per square foot of $283.90.
