The Beechmont area is beautiful in appearance. We all are aware of that, but it is also a wonderful area in which to reside. The Beechmont area offers a Neighborhood Association to its residents, and their yearly general meeting and social event is being held tomorrow from 3-5 p.m. at Spellman Hall at Iona College.” The Beechmont Association’s Appreciation Award will be presented to Fred Wiener, Chair of the Beechmont Lake Committee, Dr. Joseph Nyre, President of Iona College, and Dr. Joseph Stabile , Professor of Biology at Iona College, for their contributions in beautifying Beechmont.”
The event is free to all residents, and Beechmont home owners are prompted to remind their immediate neighbors in th event they never received the invitation. Wine, cheese and Hors D’oeuvres wil also be served at this wonderful community event.
