Remington Women’s Auxiliary 42nd Annual Luncheon – Saturday, April 6th, 2019

Dr. Pam Davis with Mayor Noam Bramson

It is always nice to see worthy people honored at luncheons, and it is always especially nice to see friends being honored. Such was the case on April 6th, when Dr. Pam Davis was honored at the Remington Women’s Auxiliary 42nd Annual Luncheon.  Ms. Ivy Reeves was the Master of Ceremonies, and the following awards were given to:

The event was a great success, and was held at Juliano’s on Main Street, New Rochelle. SO impressive was the voice of Ms. Delonna Jones. Her voice was simply beautiful. She sang (along with the audience) “Lift Ev’ry Voice and Sing” also known as the “Negro National Anthem”.

The Remington Women’s Auxiliary began in 1938 and was originally known as the Calendar Club. The Calendar Club was started to raise funds for the local Community Boy’s Club in the home of Mrs. Ida Cue, the first President.

If you would like to donate to the organization, please contact them at 55 Maple Avenue #61, New Rochelle, N.Y. 10801 –  Telephone # 914 740-7032.

Congratulations to everyone. It was a wonderful afternoon.

New Rochelle is GREAT!
