Debbbie Chassen is my pooch walking buddy, and we find ourselves discussing everything from recipes, books, film, and life! As friends, we share things, and I was thrilled when Debbie shared with me a special part of her… the love and time (so much time) she devoted to canning tomatoes, fused with basil and garlic, a wonderful base for fish (she made a great fish dish with the sauce adding ginger), for pasta and more.
I decided to make mine with some gnocchi. Delicious!
