Carolyn Fugere (in her hat as President of the Larchmont Chamber of Commerce), Mimi, Ali, Liz (Rye), ( I should be listing EVERYONE so I apologize) but I have to say that EVERYONE in my office has been working hard to bring forth a successful event tomorrow from 3-5:0 p.m. What is that event ? “A Taste of Larchmont” and it is benefiting “My Sister’s Place.” SO, obviously an event that we can all enjoy doing, just knowing that we are helping/aiding so many needy people. Isn’t that what life is all about? Helping others so we can make the world better? But, in working towards a wonderful, successful event, doesn’t rest on the shoulders of our Larchmont, Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s Office, but rather on the whole community. It is the community, shop owners/tradesmen, individuals, who wanted to make an imprint , who chose to make a difference. It is those people, that we are truly indebted too and sincerely thank. If you live in Larchmont, pop in and thank them, stay a while, and purchase something/ anything. Without these store owners, without their continual support of these charitable organizations, there would be no flourishing Larchmont. Larchmont is a wonderful area in which to reside. It is simply grand to know that we are a community, and strive for the best for all. That aside, as I was glancing at the baskets this afternoon (OH my goodness- so MANY goodies in each basket.. I will be there.. YOU should be there.. so much fun, and a trolley too!
