Every successful office and real estate agent needs a team. The Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s Office is blessed to have such a robust, knowledgeable group of professionals; a support system in over drive! The current team of 7 are present in the office to offer advice, their invaluable knowledge, and always with patience, humor, and intelligence. With an office of over 50 agents, patience is especially important!
We mentioned our weekend Ambassador, Marilyn Liebenguth, in an earlier blog post for good reason, and it is now time to brag about our unbelievably talented team of weekday Ambassadors. Firstly, it is so important to have a dedicated group of Administrators, and staff. They are our creative force, creating the brochures, making them look so professional and so representative of the Sotheby’s elegant branding which the company is well known for, making appointments in a professional manner which again is representative of our brand. As Barbara Rosenblum , a top producing agent in the Larchmont office stated “our staff are second to none”.
Sandy Goldfarb is our Office Administrator, and has been with the company for over 15 years and a real estate agent for 30 years. Sandy became a full-time office Administrator when her daughter, Jeannie went to college in 2006, but still likes to maintain her license and list and sell for friends and clients. Sandy has found having a license is a great asset for her job, and obviously her real estate knowledge is vast. Sandy’s sage wisdom, her daily implementation and follow through of the detailed work is such an important and integral aspect of the office. Sandy enters all of the listings into the ‘systems’, takes care of all billing, and checks, and is constantly following up on the listings status. With so many properties being sold and rented, that is quite an undertaking, and Sandy is always there with a smile on her face to assist. Sandy has very happily lived in Larchmont for the past 28 years; fell in love with all it had to offer, especially Manor Park, Flint Park, the schools and of course the convenience to Manhattan. Larchmont is so geared for families! Sandy loves the theater (Broadway musicals), and her grandchildren.
Angela Mascio has been with Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s for a little over a year, and yet her background speaks of years of knowledge. With an Undergraduate Degree in Graphic Design, and a Masters in Media, Angela is extremely creative in everything she does. She enjoys the office, the agents (who she says are all nice), and is learning a lot. I think that we, as associates are learning a lot from Angela! Imagine, she commutes form New Jersey each day just to be with us! Dedicated as well as talented. Angela is a talented photographer and her keen eye and photographic expertise has been an advantageous asset to us all. She truly enjoys working in the Larchmont area, and her hobbies include playing on a soccer team (Co-ed and over 21), and playing Trivia!
Susan Lambrosa has been with the company for approximately one and a half years, and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts. Susan also loves working in the Larchmont area, as the homes are so glorious, creating marketing plans with the listing agents, and being creative in general . Susan particularly loves the waterfront homes, enjoys the interaction with all of the agents, and her expertise shines in whatever she does. Her knowledge is quite invaluable and such an asset to the office. Susan loves to paint and enjoys painting with acrylic, working out and taking long walks.
The front desk! Oh my! So representative of any office, and the demeanor displayed. Ms. Nancy Lennon has been with the company for over 25 years, and is always so concerned with follow-up and ensuring that all is okay throughout the office. Nancy has a background in real estate and used to sell homes in the area so her expertise and advice are always welcomed by all. Nancy loves crossword puzzles, fine dining, walking in Manor Park and she lives locally. Nancy has actually resided in three homes in the Larchmont area. That is, someone who buys larger/smaller homes but stays in the area and for good reason! Larchmont is simply a wonderful village in which to reside. Nancy has many friends in the community, and she simply loves what the area offers, and the convenience in being so close to Manhattan.
Diana Lee Angstadt has been with the company a year, and her professional front desk demeanor has owners and buyers alike raving about her courteous presence and follow through. Diana graduated from Central CT State College and Merrill Business School for secretarial sciences. Diana is a cat person! She is an avid photographer, and is well known for her photographic portraits of fine art and portraits. She has 2 web sites, and can be reached at: www.diana-angstadt.artistwebsites.com and www.dianaleephotodesigns.com . Diana loves the happy, working environment of the Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s office.
Lastly, the office is blessed to have a summer intern this year. Mr. Matt Henry. A Junior at Holy Cross, studying Economics, and now he is fast becoming a media expert also! His vast knowledge of the internet has proven invaluable to the office this summer, and Carolyn Fugere, our Manager, cannot say enough words about his creativity. Matt has been working as a volunteer to the Larchmont Chamber of Commerce (he was instrumental in creating the wonderful “Date Night Poster” which will be utilized throughout the Village on three separate occasions this summer and fall), has been advising the office associates on all aspects of SEP (Social Engine Optimization), and has been working within the office 5 days a week for a 10 week commitment.
Carolyn states “I love my work family! Super caring, beyond hard working and so talented. I thank my lucky stars everyday to be working with this team.” Michele Wenzler, another top agent stated “It is great being in an office where resources and experiences are shared. We are all here to support each other…and do so willingly”.
High praise to all, but as the quote goes “Praise is warming and desirable. But it is an earned thing. It has to be deserved, like a hug from a child.” Phyllis McGinley
Larchmont is GREAT!
