There is also a coop building on Bleeker Avenue, so if you would like to be close to the water yet cannot afford that million dollar + home, then you do have some options!

Christies 001I attended a breakfast meeting today at Houlihan Lawrence’s new office site located at 800 Westchester Avenue in Rye Brook.  After the tea was poured, the croissants and fruit skewers devoured, we all nestled down to be wowed (once again) by Stephen and Chris Meyers imparting invaluable information and insights into the local real estate market.  Not only does Houlihan Lawrence have 38% of the Westchester market share, but also 52% of all home sales over $2 Million dollars while our closest competitor only has 16% .

Houlihan Lawrence represents local experts with a global reach. Christie’s  represents an International network  with exclusive global clientele, channeling high net worth individuals, and simply put “Christie’s represents the best.”

Bonnie Stone Sellers, Chief Executive Officer of Christie’s International Real Estate, spoke with enthusiasm, wit, intelligence and great knowledge on recent sales, the 126 Christie’s affiliates, the 63 Billion in sales this past year with the highest sale being 87 Million. Ms. Stone Sellers mentioned  the largest Westchester record producing sale of “Devonshire” in Bedford of $21.5 Million this past year.  A Houlihan Lawrence listing and sale. When clients choose Houlihan Lawrence (along with Christie’s),  their home will not only be featured in the  magazine (10,000 copies), and distributed throughout the 53 world wide locations,, but also reaches 140,000 clients digitally,  and is featured on their web site where 1.4 monthly viewers enjoy (for 9 minutes at a time) the gorgeous properties available for sale. It is a known fact that the luxury market follows the trends of the luxury purchasing pattern. There are now more  cash sales, perhaps reflecting the recent changes in tax laws that had previously cooled the market place.

Kathleen Coumou, Senior Vice President, Regional Manager – Northeast Region, also spoke eloquently about Christie’s, and how, in conjunction with Houlihan Lawrence’s marketing  can only better serve every luxury property represented by our company.

RAY RICE, Baltimore Ravens Honored at New Rochelle City Hall

March 2nd, was a  simply joyous occasion at  the New Rochelle City Hall.  The city celebrated the Ray Rice Victory Rally, and hundreds of people showed up to honor Ray. Present were the  New Rochelle High School Varsity Football Team  and State Champions with Coach Lou Di Rienzo , the  New Rochelle High School Varsity and JV Cheerleading Squads and also 2013 National Champions,  Coach Larry Alston and a young man from the New Rochelle Youth Tackle League,  Walter Brown from the Remington Flyers and Ray’s cousin, Linise Greene who is a track star,  The High School Band, the School Board, Mayor Noam Bramson,  Councilman Jared Rice, Radio Show Celebrity Craig Carton,  PTA  SEPTA President Chrisanne Petrone, and most importantly Ray’s mom, Janet, Ray’s Aunt, Denise who is a local Pastor, and RAY Rice of the Baltimore Ravens.
