Tri-State Sotheby’s Networking Event – Cruising Around Manhattan!

Sotheby’s is world known and renown.  Go to any country, and everyone will see the Sotheby’s logo which represents class, quality and elegance.

As agents, we love networking events so we can meet other agents, share our ideas,  introduce and speak of our properties, and basically create relationships which will only help advance our individual markets. Whenever I list a new property, I will introduce it not only local agents but agents in New York City and Brooklyn! SO, it just made sense to attend a Tri State networking event on September 19th from 6-9 p.m.  on a 148 Foot Hornblower Hybrid Yacht evening cruise around Manhattan!

Founded in 1949, William Pitt and Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty manages a $4.2-billion portfolio with more than 1,000 sales associates in 27 brokerages spanning Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Westchester County, New York. William Pitt and Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty is one of the largest Sotheby’s International Realty(R) affiliates globally and the 34th-largest real estate company by sales volume in the United States.

The weather was simply lovely, the company was perfect, and everyone had a great time!

Cheers!

Fall means Lavender & Limoncello time!

Each year I grow my lavender, and I love to make lavender sachets from the harvest. I must admit, I do augment it sometimes with lavender purchased on-line, but the love behind it is always there. I then give to my clients and friends, and it always feels so nice to give!

This year, I also made Limoncello for clients and friends during the summer!  I had so much fun that I am now making my third batch!

I don’t drink it myself, but all good! I first saw a seller making it in her home when I was showing clients her home. I quickly asked for her recipe and the rest is history!

Appreciating clients is priceless! Having friends gives meaning to life!

Record Sale in New Rochelle 10804 – Gay Rosen – Sotheby’s

I always am thrilled whenever I am called to represent future clients in the sale and marketing of their home. I initiate a program that would best suit their individual needs, and advertise accordingly, whether it is targeted advertising in Facebook,  Instagram,  local advertising in the local journal, web site creation, blogs, etc. My company, Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s advertises/markets extensively and so everything I do is in addition to that great marketing.  We have a wonderful Public Relations also, and our press releases are many times picked up by other news sources!

When I first listed “Four Chimneys” , I had 3 separate photo shoots waiting for those glorious photos to emerge from  perfect weather,  had a video created (which was then chosen by Sotheby’s to be on their YouTube channel, advertised in various magazines and newspapers, and created a personalized website!

The home recently sold – and it was a record breaking sale for New Rochelle. Selling at $3,400,000, it proved to be the highest sold property in New Rochelle since 2007 (12 years!).

I then received the most wonderful review from my client! ZIllow Review Sheldrake

“Gay Rosen is absolutely, 1,000,000%, the consummate professional agent. Her above-and-beyond approach to attention to details, including and not limited to her breadth of knowledge about the real estate industry and its ever-fluctuating pricing; aggressive (yet tactful!) ability to accept offers and negotiate accordingly; make suggestions to the seller for those “extra touches” needed to market a property so as to attract maximum interest from buyers; communication capabilities with buyers’ agents and conveyance of such communications with the seller; and overall patience with, and responsiveness to, the every thought, request, and demand of the seller, couldn’t be matched by any other professional in her field. Her finesse and lovely overall demeanor left this seller with the best experience possible.”

Please call me for all of your real estate needs!  Whether it is the smallest coop or rental, or largest estate, I will offer you the same excellence in servicing!

Swim Across America 2019

July 27th, 2019 marked the 27th year of this wonderful Swim Across America event. So many participants helping to raise money towards fighting cancer. As of writing this post $1,054,318 has been raised to-date.

“Proceeds from the swims will support immunotherapy research at the Swim Across America Laboratory at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, pediatric oncology research at Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of New York-Presbyterian and patient services with Cancer Support Team.”

Held at the Larchmont Yacht Club, the volunteers arrived from 4 am onward.  I was asked to arrive at 5 so I was more fortunate! It was wonderful to see the sun rise, and to be involved of so much caring, sharing and fun! Swimmers of all ages (the youngest swimming in a pool ), and in the Long Island Sound with kayakers shepherding them in case someone needs assistance.

“Since 1987, SAA has granted over $80 million through 20 experiential open water swimming fundraising events and over 100 pool swim fundraisers.”

What can I say.

Larchmont is GREAT!
